Jeffery Ang is a veteran shipping professional who has spent over a decade in the industry, working his way up from dock operations to overseeing complex global logistics networks. His passion is empowering aspiring and current shipping professionals with practical skills and strategic expertise.
Through Shipping Campus, Jeffery makes his extensive real-world knowledge accessible to others in bite-sized online courses, on-demand webinars, community discussions, and regular educational updates. He provides insider perspectives to advance careers in this fast-paced field.
Education Background
Jeffery earned his bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. During his studies, he took a special interest in global trade, analytics, and operations management. His professors and classmates inspired in him a spirit of innovation that he carries through in his work to this day.
Beyond Shipping: Jeffery’s Other Passions
Outside of his work in the shipping world, Jeffery is an avid outdoor enthusiast with interests in trail running, hiking, and mountaineering. He enjoys escaping into nature to push his physical limits and clear his mind. Over the years, Jeffery has completed numerous marathons, half-marathons, centuries, and multi-day mountain ascents. His biggest triumph was successfully summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro.
When he’s not outdoors, you can often find Jeffery reading historical nonfiction books and listening to podcasts to continue feeding his curiosity. He also loves seeking out new cuisines and travel destinations around the globe, embracing opportunities to expand his cultural perspective.
